Welcome to our December journal! This season has been marked by many conversations in the Costron + Co community about fears around money and finances. Our nervous systems are almost constantly recovering, flexing, healing as we navigate challenges in life and/or business and world events. We are experiencing these states because we are divinely human—but we are also capable of feeling abundant despite these challenges. This journal addressed the four main barriers that we see impacting feelings of abundance for ourselves and our clients. We hope this brings lightness and ease as you take the next step forward in your heart centered business.
1. Become a Magnet for Your Dream Clients
Who are you speaking to? As many business coaches and marketing specialists detail, getting clear on your dream client is paramount. This allows you to focus your attention and energy in a specific direction. Offering services widely to multiple groups of people and attempting to appeal to everyone is birthed from fear and scarcity—you may feel you need to do more, please the people, or that you’re not enough. When you have many, unaccessible, work spaces you are pulled away from working with your ideal clients.
Identifying Your + Your Client’s Heart Centered Values gives you space to get clear on how you want to feel with your work in the world, how you feel when you connect with your clients, and how you want you clients to feel when working with you. Heart Centered Sales will provide you with the opportunity to unlearn and reframe previous sales systems where money, power and greed are in the driver’s seat. Paying the bills with peace and confidence comes from a blend of the masculine (practical strategy, systems and tools) and the feminine (flow, creativity, ease, comfort). We have seen first hand, both by experience and in leading our clients, that financial abundance can be alive in your life.
Healthy life business integration is a dream for all of us, and only really possible with a good financial wellness plan. We are here to enjoy life and do what is meaningful while we are on the planet. The push into a hustle, grind culture is over. The way forward is heart centered living.
4. Make Friends With Your Inner Saboteur
Oh hello ego… There is always grit when you do this type of work in business. We are human. But where we meet grit there is also an invitation into grace. Grace comes when we invite our inner critic to the table and allow space for its voice rather than pushing it away. This friend is trying to tell you something to support your safety and comfort.
